Ran across this online and thought it was kind of interesting. It is suppose to defeat red light and speed cameras. Now we use to have the red light cameras down here in Virginia Beach but the Virginia General Assembly voted to not continue the program. Seems there were some studies that suggested these cameras might be doing more harm than good with accidents actually up on intersections that use the cameras.
Anyway came across this site.
Not sure if it works but I reckon it couldn’t hurt to try it.
It was hot and muggy yesterday and as it usually is on summer afternoons thunder storms started popping up.
The storms started around 4:00 just as me and the kids got home and they pretty much lasted all night. Snapped a couple of pictures of the clouds when the storms first started rolling through.
Lots of rain, wind, and lots of lightning. Lost power a few times.
It is still raining this morning but it is suppose to end soon then there is a chance of more storms tonight. Hopefully the weekend will be nice though. Sandy and I are planning on going to the ABATE of VA State Rally at Jamestown Campground this weekend. We are not going to camp just going up for the day on Saturday.

For the last few weeks I have been working nearly none stop at my first Internet retail business. Setting up the shopping cart, getting all the inventory together, testing and retesting - this was the easy part. I have been working at some kind of business on Internet since around 1996 most of what I have been into are affiliate/associate programs, selling other peoples products and earning a commission. With ChopperStickers.com I am actually going to be running a retail site - this means sales tax, business licenses, and the like. It has taken a couple of weeks to get all that together. My wife and I formed and LLC to run the business under, then I had to get a Federal EIN number, and a state sales tax account.
Well that is all done now and ChopperStickers.com is ready to open. The store is already up and running and I will be making an announcement on the ChopperStickers.com Blog tommorrow to officially kick things off.
Have a look at it, buy a sticker or 2, and let me know what you think.
Yesterday, July 9, 2006, was my 12 year anniversary with the company that I work for, MAP Communications, Inc.
Wow, 12 years! I got a nice card from the company on Friday and $100 cash bonus to have a good weekend.
MAP is a nationwide answering service provider. We answer calls, mostly for businesses, doctors, lawyers, contractors, and the like then we dispatch messages by email, cell phone, pager, fax, even by calling the client. I started working in the call center answering phones. At the time I was going to school for electronic engineering and I moved to the pager repair area.
I worked in pager repair for a few years and then got promoted to the MIS/IT department of our subsidiary, SmartBeep. After a good run and the pager industry pretty much on the way out to cell phones and PDAs SmartBeep closed and I went back to MAP and for a while was the manager of the MIS department.
Now I am the Network Administrator. I oversee the day to day operations of our network, network hardware, Internet services, etc. I like the job, somedays more than others. Like any other company there are good things and bad things about MAP, but the good outway the bad and like anybody somedays I think I am worth more than I make. Not sure whether I will be here another 12 though, but I will be around for awhile.
I have a goal to someday work for myself. That is still aways off, but someday it will happen. Until then I am here doing my job the best that I can, learning everything I can, and taking pride in what I do.
MAP has been good to me the last 12 years. Wow 12 whole years - amazing.
Welcome to my blog. It has been here for awhile running on LifeType. I recently started messing with WordPress and I like it much better so I decided to scrape the old blog and start a new one. Some of the stuff from the old will come back here, some of it won’t. Looked at how I might be able to import all the old into the new but then decided there really was not much point in that, so anyway here we are back at the beginning.
